Pin Shoots
These are run by the Pistol Chairman, Mike Cowhy. Any type of handgun is acceptable. Mike does run a couple of divisions so as to allow the folks to compete against similar firearms. The idea is to knock down the 5 pins as fast as possible. Sometimes Mike will run "mixed doubles" events with a male and female on each team. Fees start at $5.

Turkey Shoots
The Turkey Shoots come in two flavors:
SHOTGUN: These are run by Dale Radak. The events are typically run in the fall. You bring any shotgun you want, TCSL provides the shell. This is a game of luck in many ways. The pellet that hits closest to the center of the target wins a Turkey (frozen, you thaw and cook).
PISTOL: Run by Mike Cowhy on the pistol range. Shoot at a moving deer target with the handgun of your choice. You must supply your own ammunition.
Typically there are 10 shooters per round. Fees are around $3 per chance.

Women on Target
The Second Annual Women On Target Instructional Shooting Clinic is scheduled for June 7, 2008. This event will allow women the opportunity to shoot a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol while under care of a coach or instructor. Enjoy hitting targets, even if you’ve never fired a gun before. Experience the fun of shooting in a safe and helpful environment. Firearms, ammunition, safety equipment, and lunch will be provided. Fee is $25. Advance registration is required. Instructions for registration will be posted here on April 1st.
